Here at Just Imagine we believe in befriending those who write with us and want this to be a safe space for everyone who chooses to join us. We've chosen to set up member profiles so that everyone can introduce themselves and list what they're looking for in writing partners. Due to the nature of the site, we felt this was the best way to help everyone connect with others with similar interests. One thing that must be stressed first - we welcome characters [and members] of all beliefs, backgrounds, descents, sexualities, genders, and creeds. Because of this we do not tolerate any harassment, phobic attitudes or behaviors or anything else that may make the site unwelcome to someone. This space should remain a safe place for everyone. That being said, we are human and everyone makes mistakes. If you see something we've slipped up on or could improve upon, please reach out and let us know. We can't fix something if we don't know about it. Continuing on the safe space belief we hold here - if you see any harassment, bullying, or other unwelcome behaviors, please screenshot it and send in reports to one of the staff members. We always keep things private and we will always investigate. We believe that offline/real life should come first. Roleplaying is a hobby and should be fun for everyone. No one should ever feel pressured for ships, posts, or anything else onsite. We view any pressuring for posts, ships, or anything that makes you uncomfortable as harassment and it falls under the 'no harassment' rule. Please approach one of us if you need help. We're here for you and will do our best to make sure the site stays a safe place for you. IC drama is welcome. OOC drama is not welcome here ever, and we expect it to be left at the door. If there is ever any drama that is impacting a member's ability to enjoy the site, please come to us so we can help sort it. This is a safe space and we take that seriously. We will remove someone who is making the site unsafe, even if the actions themselves are done offsite. We do need evidence of what is going on, and will not act on hearsay only. Our focus here is to tell stories. We encourage people to tell many different sorts of stories and to bring characters in from all walks of life and all backgrounds. We will not censor what people write here, so long as it does not violate the TOS. We have tags so that subjects can be avoided and warned for as needed. We do not have post requirements here. We ask that members communicate their personal expectations with their partners and agree upon posting speeds and plot lines that they both find agreeable. What it all boils down to is this - the site is meant to be fun, and a community for those who join where they can relax and feel safe.
