About
John's talented at a lot of things, but he's best at being an exorcist and a conman. He's extremely good at manipulating those around him to get what he wants, particularly if it's money, cars, homes, and even friends. He's good at talking himself into and out of most situations. He's smart, though it doesn't always show when he runs his mouth. He's got a lot of knowledge from reading and hands on experience - mostly of various religions and occult things and he's got no qualms whatsoever about using it when necessary. His knowledge of magic and occult things has served him well in Brookhaven and it took him no time at all to adapt to it. He's mastered both Arcane and Shadow magick, and has began to study the other schools as well - his focus right now is Light.
Most of his knowledge lies in the occult and magical practices [even ones that don't exist in his home realm]. He has an almost inhuman ability to pick up on supernatural things after seeing them only once or twice, but he has been known to screw up - when he does, it's a spectacular misstep that often costs lives. He's got some lasting influences from the demonic blood he possesses + the many spells he's cast that give him a bit of an extended life and slower aging [though this is also due in part to the demons keeping him young-ish and alive so as to avoid a war in Hell].
John's seemingly confident and sure of himself, but it's actually a mask he keeps up. He's very insecure and unsure of his abilities and skills. Someone who spots this could whittle away at his confidence until he's entirely unbalanced and take advantage of that weakness. He has more than a standard appetite for sex and an outright addiction to alcohol and cigarettes. He acts tough, like he doesn't care - but he can't stand to see those few he considers important to him hurt or threatened, particularly if it happens because of him. He does tend to lose sight of his own goals tearing himself up with worry for those he wants to keep safe, and a lot of his manipulation and bad habits are acted upon to protect them, though he never shows any of this torment outwardly. He's got a healthy fear of demons, devils, and those higher up in hell especially, but he often tries to con them anyway and does all that he can to mess their plans up. Currently, if he dies all of hell will go to war over his soul - he has sold it to three separate demons [the first of the fallen and his two brothers] and as such most demons go out of their way to keep him alive. This is a blessing and a curse since he's suffered through quite a few ordeals that would kill ordinary men.
John does not have a personality that endears him to anyone really. He's crass and crude and extremely arrogant. He tends to think of himself and no one else - usually. There's a select few who get put before himself, and while he does tend to look down on humanity as a whole, he has done things to save them in the past. He's got no qualms about using people, even his friends, if it means getting the end result he wants. He doesn't like putting them in harm's way, but has learned that often it's the only way to succeed. As such, he rarely gets close to others - it's easier to use them if he's not emotionally attached. He's very rarely remorseful unless something horrible happens to those he's using.
All that said, he does hold on to a great deal of remorse and even guilt [survivor's guilt, some say] at the first attempt at a demon summoning/exorcism because it damned a little girl's soul to hell with the very demon he was trying to rid her of. This softness and guilt is rarely seen, though he does take it hard when a friend or ally is lost. He's got snarky comebacks as a defense mechanism when people bring up that everyone dies around him, and often distances himself from anyone close after an incident. He also always seems to be looking for a fight to cope/forget and failing that a good smoke and beer.
His darker side rarely shows, because he's actually afraid of it and keeps it under close guard. It's far more vicious than it once was [due to experiences + demonic blood] and those who manage to rouse it should be prepared to pay dearly. His temper has led him to cursing people, not something anyone should take lightly - especially at the hands of a skilled sorcerer. He often regrets his actions afterward, but in the heat of the moment he doesn't give a damn about the consequences of what he does. This, combined with his bad habit of conning people has earned him more enemies than friends and often even those he counts as friends will turn on him if pushed too far or used one too many times.
History
John was born to Thomas and Mary Constantine. His mother died in childbirth and his father never forgave him. His sister seemed to hate him as well. He grew up alone and different, and developed a fascination for the occult at a young age. This often got him in trouble with his father, and at one point all his books were burned by the man in their back yard. This pushed John to curse the man with a scrap of one of his books. That also backfired when it actually worked and John was forced to find a way to stop [but not cure] the issue. He ran away to London not long after, and encountered a creature of the Dreaming. He wasn't there for long, the police depositing him back in Liverpool with his father quickly.
He returned to London again within a year, as he considered it far more a home than Liverpool ever had been. He lived with his best friend Chas and devoted much of his time to studying magic and playing music. He formed a band, though it was short lived due to being shit and he moved on to focusing on the occult full time. His first attempt at an exorcism ended in disaster due to his being overconfident and cocky and it resulted in a little girl being dragged to hell. This scarred him and he ended up in a mental institution for a time. While there he was treated horribly, due to the staff thinking he was a child murderer. He was eventually set free when a gangster wanted help bringing his dead son back.
John experienced many 'adventures' and issues over the next thirty five or so years, the loss of many of his family, friends, and self respect, but even with all that little changed about him. He was still an arrogant asshole who often got into trouble and alienated all but the most devoted of friends. His habit of cutting remarks at the most inappropriate times and savage retaliation for anyone who crossed him or injured those he cares about has not changed, only gotten worse.
Finding himself stranded in Brookhaven after taking a smoke break to clear his head during a nasty argument with Chas about the handling of a case, he wasn't exactly thrilled. Were it not for the convincing explanation and the fact that his demon-tainted blood revealed it was the truth he'd have thought a demon was taking a nasty bit of revenge on him. He set off to explore as soon as they'd finished their explanation and took an instant dislike to those in in the ruling class. With his sharp mind and wit, he soon found himself in the middle of a war, forced to fight for a cause not his own. When the civil war started, he threw in his lot with the rebels, as he figured it was better than what they were dealing with from the current king.
Once that was over and done with he decided that a magick shop that offered a wide range of things, including exorcisms and cleansings, was the way to go. Plus, if he had everything set up when Chas got through the portals himself hey'd be able to settle right in. He was content to stay in the city, as all the deals he'd made back home couldn't be upheld here, so it was a fresh start.
The shop was instantly popular as much of the city, regardless of social rank, is highly superstitious. . TIREDOLDSOLDIERS AGE - THIRTY-NINE TIMEZONE - EASTERN FACE CLAIM: MATT RYAN THEONS @ SHINE -

He needed a smoke, damn it all, and they could deal. His nerves were rattled and his energy reserves sapped, but Lucifer still needed a spell for his club and to get rid of the fucking poltergeist. The kid apologized, and he could tell it was genuine in how she'd spoken so he accepted it with a nod.\"Sounds like your old alpha was a real jackass. I don't work with that type. Tend to send them packing, actually.\" He let his eyes go between the two, trying to assess the situation. He really didn't like where he was in relation to them both, but there wasn't much to be done about it. When the man spoke again though, he shrugged.
Wasn't much they could do, and he wasn't gonna draw on their energy to get the job done, though he knew how. He pulled on the cigarette again, blowing smoke out in a puff a moment later. \"Well... if you two want to watch my back while I finish my job...\" His lips quirked, though it wasn't an entirely friendly expression. \"When I'm at full energy and power most things leave me alone, but I'm tired and I'm gonna be exhausted by the time I'm done. There's nasties out there who'll take advantage.\"
It wasn't a very nice thing to ask - some of the demons, ghosts, and magick users who he'd clashed with and who watched him for signs of weakness were unpleasant at best and deadly at worst. But he had a job he wanted paid for and he'd wasted a ton of energy when the spells had been interrupted. \"If not, well... Do me a favor and go tell Lucifer that his spells have to wait and why.\"
That wasn't very nice either, but of the two it was the safer route for the others. He was curious what they'd pick.

That... was not a good idea with this one. It was a prideful nasty thing that liked to punish any insult. John knew he'd have to get its attention again and fast. He'd wanted the woman to run not draw attention. THIS was exactly why he fucking worked alone. Aggravation pushed him to move faster, and he began to chant loudly, before slicing his hand open and slamming it against the containment circle. It was risky business, combining different types of magick and rituals, but he didn't have a choice, not with the big ugly focusing all his attention on the lady who'd interrupted John. Just as the demon was about to cross the circle a red glow erupted from the chalk lines and circled above the demon's head. It'd worked, but for how long he couldn't say. \"You'll pay for that, exorcist!\" The demon's voice had become a chilling howl, and he knew they were in for a not-fun time no matter what he did.
Whirling on the woman, John glared at her. \"What the hell, lady? I told you to back away, not draw his attention! If he got his paws on you, you'd have been lucky to be alive after! I don't need another soul damned because of me. Bloody hell...\" He shook his head, then began to circle the glowing sphere the demon found himself in, scribbling more chalk markings and pressing his bloodied hand into them to seal it - blood magick was dangerous but he didn't think he had a choice but to use it now.
It didn't respond as it had back home, which bothered him, but the magick here was different and he'd gotten used to it not always being predictable. At least it still responded to him. Mostly. He glared up at the monster. \"Not gonna say your name here as that'll give you even more power, but just so you know - I know exactly who you are. And what you do. You touch one hair on her head, or anyone else's and I'll know. I know your weaknesses and you're cut off from your boss and allies here. No way to get help, got it?\"
He flashed a very, very unfriendly smile up at the demon. \"I got a lot of friends though, and I know they'd just love to see what makes a demon tick. So be a good boy and back the fuck off. Don't do anything you know ol' John wouldn't approve of. I'm binding you into a mortal form - your own so no poor sod has to deal with your sorry attitude or stench - and then we'll go from there.\" The demon howled in fury, hurling insults in demonic at him, but John knew the bastard was at least partly contained.
His attention went to the woman. \"Okay. So he's stuck for the moment, but this'll wear off soon and I want to get this other spell I just threatened him with done now. You gonna help or would you rather leave before things get worse and it holds a grudge against you too?\"

John's talented at a lot of things, but he's best at being an exorcist and a conman. He's extremely good at manipulating those around him to get what he wants, particularly if it's money, cars, homes, and even friends. He's good at talking himself into and out of most situations. His knowledge of magic and occult things has served him well in Pandaemonium and it took him no time at all to adapt to it. He's he's already at adept levels in both Fel and Light magick, and has began to study the other schools as well, though he's still focusing more on Fel and Light as he wants to master them. Due to the similarities to magick back home he's got the years necessary, it's just figuring out the last few differences and mastering them. Perhaps another few months and he'll earn that rank.
Most of his knowledge lies in the occult and magical practices [even ones that don't exist in his home realm]. He has an almost inhuman ability to pick up on supernatural things after seeing them only once or twice, but he has been known to screw up - when he does, it's a massive flub that often costs lives. They were all little potion bottles, scrolls, or bundles that could fit in the palm of your hand for various spells. A bare wire 'tree' sat off to the side, its branches waiting for the baskets he was filling.
He grinned at Chibi as she entered the shop and stared at his 'TV', waiting for her to realize what it was. That grin widened when she turned to look at him. The man was clearly pleased with himself. "It is. I figured out a way to pull the data into little spheres magickally, and enchanted a mirror made with special spells woven into the material as it was crafted to project said data. Took ages, but as you can see - quite worth it."
Constantine watched her as she focused again on the TV and the movie he was watching. "Well, the basic model, like the 32" you see is maybe 500 gold. Maybe. Depends on the materials used for the specific mirror and how much energy it takes me to get it to take the enchantment. The little spheres themselves cost anywhere from 1 to 50 gold, depending on what they hold - and, like the TV, how much it takes me to enchant it."
He settled back in his chair and nodded at the massive one hanging behind the counter, which had no sound but was also displaying the movie - you could enchant them to connect and play the same thing across several screens, which he'd done for the shop.
"Now that one? That'll cost you at least a thousand gold. If you want the bundle of movies, music, and other shit I pulled off of a hard drive that found itself here, 1400 total.
Bundle only comes with that one, and there's only one of 'em. Took too much fucking energy, so I'm never doing that again."

<! Tab Three !> SKILLS & ABILITIES
His knowledge of magic and occult things has served him well in Nevermore and it took him no time at all to adapt to it. He's mastered both Arcane and Shadow magick, and has began to study the other schools as well - his focus right now is Light. Most of his knowledge lies in the occult and magical practices [even ones that don't exist in his home realm]. He has an almost inhuman ability to pick up on supernatural things after seeing them only once or twice, but he has been known to screw up - when he does, it's a massive flub that often costs lives. He's got some lasting influences from the demonic blood he possesses + the many spells he's cast that give him a bit of an extended life and slower aging [though this is also due in part to the demons keeping him young-ish and alive so as to avoid a war in Hell].
WEAKNESSES
Personality
ABOUT
John was born to Thomas and Mary Constantine.
Finding himself stranded in Nevermore after taking a smoke break to clear his head during a nasty argument with Chas about the handling of a case, he wasn't exactly thrilled. Were it not for the convincing explanation and the fact that his demon-tainted blood revealed it was the truth he'd have thought a demon was taking a nasty bit of revenge on him. He set off to explore as soon as they'd finished their explanation and took an instant dislike to the place as a whole.
He decided that a magick shop that offered a wide range of things, including exorcisms and cleansings, was the way to go. Plus, if he had everything set up when Chas got through the portals himself hey'd be able to settle right in. Though he was angry at first, he soon became content to stay in the city, as all the deals he'd made back home couldn't be upheld here, so it was a fresh start.

This one was for sale too, but he doubted many of those who'd want such a thing would go for the smaller one. It was the equivalent of a 32" tv, and that was pretty small by modern standards back home. It'd taken him ages to figure out how to enchant the bloody thing, but he'd finally figured out a way to get the magic to interface how he wanted. Once that had been sorted, it hadn't taken much time at all.
He still had the original hard drive sitting in the back room, and he had a 'master copy' of every movie, song, and audiobook on it, as well as all the other things that'd been stored, and he'd made a first copy of the lot of it all at once, to see how much energy it took and how long he'd have to devote to setting up orbs for customers. That'd wiped him out for two days straight. The copying itself had been relatively fast - three hours total - but the sheer amount of energy it had taken drained him to the point he'd not been able to do more than weak spells for the next two days.
Stepping back, he surveyed the display, and nodded in satisfaction. He knew that the stuff wouldn't be super popular with the locals (at least, he didn't think it would) but there were a lot of outsiders who'd missed this sort of thing from home. And now he, and he alone, had a way to give it to them. For a price, of course. Everything he did had a price. This one was pretty high, due to the energy and magick involved, but not as high as it could have been.
He crossed to the orbs, studied them for a few, then selected one that had the text 'Insidious' floating inside. The text labeling was handy, but you could also hold it and will it to play, and it'd show you a preview of the video or play a sample of the music or other audio if it was audio only. This was, he knew, not a show many would appreciate, but he liked it and it was his shop, so fuck anyone who complained.
Pressing it against the surface of the 'mirror' on display, it rippled, flickered, and then started to play the movie he'd chosen. A tap to the upper right corner turned the volume up. He'd have to make sure to have little leaflets printed to go with them for controls - it wasn't intuitive, but he'd made do the best he could. Satisfied, he flopped down in a chair and began to sort through product while he watched the movie.

Finding himself stranded in Infernum after taking a smoke break to clear his head during a nasty argument with Chas about the handling of a case, he wasn't exactly thrilled. Jumped in an alleyway by a few punks, he blacked out and woke in another alleyway. Were it not for the convincing explanation and the fact that his demon-tainted blood revealed it was the truth he'd have thought a demon was taking a nasty bit of revenge on him. He set off to explore as soon as the kind soul who found him finished their explanation and took an instant dislike to those in in the ruling class.
He decided that a magick shop that offered a wide range of things, including exorcisms and cleansings, was the way to go. Plus, if he had everything set up, if/when Chas found himself there they'd be able to settle right in. He was content to stay in the city, as all the deals he'd made back home couldn't be upheld here, so it was a fresh start.
The shop was instantly popular as much of the city, is highly superstitious - not surprising, considering how many found themselves there.

He didn't raise his hands to summon magick yet, though he'd called on a fair bit of energy just in case he needed to. Seemed his charming greeting hadn't won her over. After a moment, he pulled out a cigarette and lit it with a bit of the energy he'd drawn on, letting some of the excess go by doing so. After drawing on the cigarette for a long moment, he blew the smoke out and sighed.\"Because you interrupted me and I wasted a shitton of energy. And I was curious. That's why. But suit yourself.\" He gave a half shrug and was about to go full sarcasm mode again when someone else interrupted him. The ball rolled back in their direction, but John's eyes were drawn to the one who'd kicked it.
He bristled when the jackass asked if he was giving her trouble and ran his mouth before she even got a chance to respond. Great. Two of them ganging up on him. Just what he bloody needed. \"No, more like she came along all teeth and snarls while I was trying to cast a goddamn protection spell for Lucifer's club. He's having problems with idiots picking fights even with the no violence rule, plus he's got a nasty poltergeist in there I was trying to get rid of.\"
The exorcist aimed a frustrated kick at the ball, which hit the wall, ricocheted off, and then bounced down the alleyway a bit. \"Do y'know how much energy two spells of that size take? I'm bloody exhausted now, and I still haven't done my job.\" Bright angry eyes glared in Rowan's direction as John finally stopped ranting and paused long enough to take another drag from his cigarette.

God damn it. NOT what I need right now. He looked up at her long enough to note where she was but not much else and then turned his attention to the ingredients in his hands. Time to assemble them for a hasty spell. It wouldn't be nearly as nice now, because he'd have to protect her too, and that'd weaken it. But he wasn't about to let this demon anywhere near someone else. \"Trying to contain a nasty bugger from my world that the portals pulled through. Afraid you walked in on him throwing a bit of a tantrum.\" He didn't look at her as he hastily wove the spell, though he did warn her about it. \"I'm putting a spell over both of us. Protection spell. Should keep the bastard from touching you, but don't let him get close. Can't promise that it'll hold for more than a hit or two.\"
Just then there was a shattering noise and sparks of magick flew in every direction. They were harmless themselves, but they told John that the demon had managed to use his distraction to draw on more energy. If he'd not had his attention divided he'd have been able to stop it. \"Damn. Back up slowly. He's pissed at me. Might not notice you at all if he gets his prize.\"
Not that John intended to let the massive demon catch him.Even with magick, he didn't like the thought of what it'd feel like if the bastard decided to make good on his promise to fuck the exorcist.
The demon lunged at John, who threw a fireball at its face, and dove to the left, further into the warehouse. The demon followed, slowly, but there was a static in the air, letting anyone with any magick sensitivity at all know that it was amassing energy for a powerful spell.

Features //
Playby: Matt Ryan
Height: 6'
Build: Wiry
Hair: Blond, short and messy.
Eyes: Blue
Tattoos & Piercings: Many tattoos - all are protection circles or other signs or are defensive magick ones. He does have his right ear pierced, but rarely wears anything in it.
Scars: Too many from a lifetime of fighting.
Voice: Medium tenor. Sarcastic & harsh.
Bearing: Blunt, sarcastic, surly, and rude. Education //
All of John's knowledge comes from years of hands on experience and learning under various sorcerers and demons. He doesn't really have any formal schooling beyond high school, but this has never stopped him - he's extremely smart and picks things up easily.
Health //
Physical ailments: Smoker's cough - sometimes can double him over at the worst possible moment.
Psychological ailments: PTSD. While he won't really admit to it, John has a bad case of ptsd that manifests in nightmares and occasional flashbacks, particularly centering around a little girl he accidentally damned to hell.
Addictions: Cigarettes, alcohol [current], same as current + sex & weed [past]
Smoking: Yes. Cigarettes - 2+ packs a day.
Drugs:: Yes. Very occasional use - weed + hallucinogens [the latter usually for spells or other rituals]
Alcohol: Yes. Wine, beer, ale, hard liquor. Pretty much anything he can get his hands on.
Traumatic experiences: Yes. Too many to detail. His whole life's been one traumatic experience after another. Abilities //
He's got some lasting influences from the demonic blood he possesses + the many spells he's cast that give him a bit of an extended life and slower aging [though this is also due in part to the demons keeping him young-ish and alive so as to avoid a war in Hell].
Weaknesses //

His knowledge of magic and occult things has served him well, as everything works as he expects it to in Infernum.
Weaknesses:
This is a blessing and a curse since he's suffered through quite a few ordeals that would kill ordinary men.John does not have a personality that endears him to anyone really.
Anything else?

About
John was born to Thomas and Mary Constantine.

John should have asked for backup - somebody to watch his ass while he was setting things up, but to hell with that. Other people, well meaning or not, generally got underfoot or he ended up worrying about them and then his ass paid the price. Or they did, when someone targeted them to get at him. If there was one thing that got to him, it was those around him getting hurt because his concentration wavered or his energy ran out.
------
\"Th'fuck are you doing?\" The voice was accompanied by a child's ball bouncing off the wall near his head. \"That'd better not be a trap to spirit me away anywhere.\"
John had been concentrating on a bit of magic to protect one of the clubs in the neighborhood and rid it of a pesky poltergeist that had taken up residence. It'd been taking most of his concentration to do so and he'd not realized someone was approaching until that someone spoke. Jumping slightly, he cursed and the slight energy in the air suddenly disappeared. Bright blue eyes turned to glare at her and he kicked at a discarded bottle on the ground in frustration. The ball she'd bounced off the wall near him rolled further down the alley, though he paid little attention to it. Raking a hand down his bare face [he'd used a bit of magic so he was safe in non-combat situations and could keep his face free for magic] he gestured in absolute frustration.
\"Christ. I was trying to do a bloody protection spell for the gentlemen who own this fine establishment and now I'm going to have to start over.\"
He raised a brow as he got a look at her, his magic and that bit of demonic blood pinpointing that she wasn't human. There was an energy radiating off her that wasn't normal or natural. She was extremely hostile and a smart, lesser skilled man would probably have held his hands up and tried to defuse the situation. Not John Constantine though. No, he was all sass and snark at the best of times and he'd just had a taxing spell interrupted and ruined.
\"Oh, now why would I be bothering to take you back anywhere? You look a sight and I ain't interested in a quick fuck or anything of the sort. Besides,\" his lips curled in a not friendly expression. \"You're too young and I've got our hands full running the magic shop and giving out protections, plus doing exorcisms as it is.\"
\"I-you!\" She cut off abruptly, snarling and revealing a bit of wolf when she did so. John watched her cautiously as she stalked nearer. \"I meant you're hunting me to take me back to my 'pack', you sick fuck.\"
He crossed his arms. \"Had a falling out with our mates, did we? Can't think of another reason you'd be being hunted here. Unless you're referring to back home. Hate to tell you, but there's no way back. Or maybe that's a good thing? Judging by the fact you immediately assumed I was dragging you back somewhere.\"
John didn't shut up once he got started, which was an annoying habit at the best of times. In a situation with an unknown supernatural - downright dangerous. But that was Constantine for you. He crossed his arms and leveled her with a far more serious stare, like he'd seen hell and come back.
\"So. What's go you so spooked that you jump on innocent sorcerers just practicing their craft?\"

He should have asked somebody for help - he had plenty of contacts in the city now, but he hated getting others involved in dangerous work where demons were the target. All too often that ended in bloodshed and sorrow, and John had another soul weighing heavily on his shoulders. No thanks.
So there he was, completely alone and half naked in the center of a summoning circle. If this went badly it was gonna hurt like hell, and those friends he'd neglected to tell about his little 'adventure' were either going to find his mutilated corpse, or have a possessed John Constantine on their hands. Neither option really appealed to him, so he really hoped that it went down how he wanted.
The candles were lit, the incense burning exactly so, and the chalk lines were all carefully laid out. Now he just had to chant the ritual words and the thing would come. It was something not from this world - in fact he was fairly certain it was from his world due to the nature of the beast. He was banking on that, because the binding circle he'd hidden just outside the summoning one wouldn't work as well [or at all] if it wasn't.
Once the words were spoken, a whoosh of air blew out all the candles, plunging the empty warehouse into darkness. \"Fuck.\" He should have planned for that and had some of the lanterns the engineers used on windy nights handy. Muttering a quick illumination spell under his breath, he winced as light suddenly flooded the area again.
The light bounced off a positively massive form now in the circle with him. John looked up, and had to take a step back and crane his neck to see the thing's head. \"Oh, fuck me.\" This wasn't the demon he'd thought. It was one from his realm, but this nasty was far more powerful than the one he'd thought he was catching.
\"That's a great idea, exorcist. I think I'll do just that.\"
Oh, hell no. John jumped back as the demon reached for him, and then carefully stepped over the containment circle. If he smudged that, he was well and truly [literally] fucked and he didn't relish the idea of this massive demon doing anything of the sort. Once outside the circle, he eyed the demon warily, grabbed his shirt and tie, and began dressing quickly.
The whole while he was chanting under his breath, strengthening the containment field and hoping that it was strong enough. Bright flashes of orange energy lit up the warehouse as the demon pounded on the energy field that sprang up when it tried to cross the barrier, and he was sure they were visible outside as well. Hope nobody comes to investigate. This could get ugly real fast, he thought as he scrambled to assemble ingredients for a quick protection spell for himself. If it got out, he wanted to make damn sure it couldn't get its greedy paws on him.

Been A While
Started by Lanbao Tigerpaw ·
Mid Summer
Lanbao carefully balanced the four bottles of alcohol she had purchased between her hands, fingers wrapped carefully around the necks. Her cache of work was tucked under her arm, rolled up parchments tucked inside the scroll case she had purchased for such a trek. She nodded happily to each person she passed that she knew, offering greetings here and there. On the woman's hip hung a small bag filled with freshly picked herbs, and she grinned as she approached the older shop. It had been a while since she had been by Original Sin, and she was curious if her offerings would get her the man's forgiveness. Not that he'd really be mad at her, but it had been a while before she'd dropped off her quota of inscriptions and herbs to the man that owned the place.
Carefully she manipulated the door open, bumping it open with her voluminous hips. The sense of electricity was reassuring in a way, and she paid no attention to the power that permeated the place. Protection spells aplenty, not that she could blame the human who ran the place, given what she had seen. "Mr. Constantine!"
She carefully picked her way through the shop, setting the booze down first, then the scroll case, and then finally the herbs. "I apologize for my absence. Something came up that kept me away, sir."
She smiled, speaking loud enough for him to hear her. She'd continued to get better at common, though her Pandaren accent was still thick sometimes. "Hopefully these will make up for it?"

I II 61 . Exorcist . Matt Ryan . Business Owner
I'm the one who steps from the shadows, all trenchcoat and cigarette and arrogance, ready to deal with the madness. Oh, I've got it all sewn up. I can save you. If it takes the last drop of your blood, I'll drive your demons away. I'll kick them in the bollocks and spit on them when they're down and then I'll be gone back into darkness, leaving only a nod and a wink and a wisecrack. I walk my path alone... who would walk with me?
John's talented at a lot of things, but he's best at being an exorcist and a conman. He's extremely good at manipulating those around him to get what he wants, particularly if it's money, cars, homes, and even friends. He's good at talking himself into and out of most situations. His knowledge of magic and occult things has served him well in Chiselwall and it took him no time at all to adapt to it.
